By accessing or using Automoti ("the Service") at automoti.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Automoti is an AI-assisted car search platform that helps users find used and new car listings across the UK. The Service aggregates publicly available listing information and uses artificial intelligence to match users with relevant vehicles based on their stated preferences. Automoti is not a car dealer, broker, finance provider, or intermediary. We do not sell cars, arrange finance, or act as an agent in any transaction. All transactions, negotiations, and purchases occur directly between buyers and sellers or third-party platforms. We bear no responsibility for any such transactions.

You agree to use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You must not: • Use the Service for any fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful purpose • Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure • Scrape, copy, or redistribute data from the Service without written permission • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Users may submit car listings for publication on the Service ("Listings"). By submitting a Listing, you: • Confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle described, or are authorised to sell it • Confirm that all information provided in the Listing is accurate and not misleading • Grant Automoti a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the Listing on the Service • Acknowledge that Automoti reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any Listing at its sole discretion, without notice or liability Automoti does not guarantee that any Listing will be published, and accepts no liability for the accuracy of user-submitted content.

The Service uses AI models (including those provided by Anthropic) to generate car recommendations, deal assessments, and other outputs. These outputs are provided for informational purposes only. AI-generated recommendations do not constitute professional, financial, or legal advice. Automoti makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output. You should independently verify all information before making any purchasing or financial decision.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality — including the Automoti brand, logo, design, and software — are and remain the exclusive property of Automoti and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its content without our prior written consent. The trademarks and trade dress of Automoti may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent. Car listing data displayed on the Service may be sourced from third-party platforms (including AutoTrader, CarGurus, and others) and is subject to their respective intellectual property rights.

The Service may display links to third-party websites and car listing platforms. These links are provided for your convenience only. Automoti has no control over the content of those sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. Clicking through to a third-party listing page is governed by that platform's own terms and conditions. We encourage you to review those terms before proceeding with any transaction.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Automoti does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any car listing, price, mileage, or specification shown on the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Automoti shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
